Error in Tally:
Internal Error. Contact Tally Solutions
Software Exception: c00000005
(Memory Access Violation)
There can be different reasons for the aforesaid error. Some of the known reasons are:
SCENARIO 1
When udiMagic is started, the said error message is displayed in Tally and it stops.
Solution: Try rewriting the Tally company data using Ctrl+Alt+R and then retry using udiMagic. Please ensure that you take backup of your Original Tally data before you rewrite it.
SCENARIO 2
This error appears while Importing data into Tally ERP 9 using the Excel template Master-StockItemMaster.xls wherein:
- The stockItem already exists in Tally with "Maintain Batch details" set to Yes.
- However, there are no Batch details given in the Excel sheet which is to be imported into Tally.
Solution: Manually alter the StockItem master in Tally and set the "Maintain Batch details" as No. Next, retry importing the data into Tally.
