udiMagic Software uses a Dual Licensing method and it can be :-

a) Linked with ONE Tally Serial Number, and;
b) Linked with ONE USB Flash/Pen drive (supported in udiMagic v6.0 Release 2.2 onwards)

You can register and use udiMagic Software with one Tally Serial Number.

udiMagic Software additionally allows you to use a USB Flash/Pen drive as a security dongle for licensing. This enables you to carry the udiMagic Software with you and use it with any Tally Serial on any one Computer.

Pros:
Allows you to carry the udiMagic Software with you, plug-in the USB Flash/Pen drive into any Computer and start using it any Tally Software or Serial (Tally 6.3 onwards)

Cons:
udiMagic can be activated on ONE USB Flash/Pen drive.

Yes. It enables you to use udiMagic with your Tally Serial (at office) and when you move out, you can carry the USB Flash drive and use the udiMagic Software on any other PC with any Tally Serial.

No. udiMagic Single-user can be used in ONE system at a time. You may use it with your Tally Serial (in office) or may carry it in a USB Flash/Pen drive and use it in your Client's Computer with any Tally Serial.

No. You must yourself buy a USB Flash/Pen drive (any model, any capacity) and can then link/activate udiMagic with it.

Use the "Licensing" option/button in the udiMagic wizard to activate it with your Tally Serial and/or USB Flash/Pen drive.

Yes. You can activate udiMagic on USB Flash/Pen drive and simply plug-in it into the Client's PC and start using udiMagic Software.

Yes. We can reset the USB Flash Drive linked with your udiMagic license subject to the Fair Usage Policy. You must write to us from your registered email id or on your letter-head to reset the USB Flash Drive.

Yes. We can reset the Tally Serial Number linked with your udiMagic license subject to the Fair Usage Policy. You must write to us from your registered email id or on your letter-head to reset the Tally Serial Number.

udiMagic Single-user can be used in ONE system only, whereas udiMagic Multi-user can be used in multiple systems (max 5 systems). All the systems must be in a Local area network (LAN) and must have same Tally Serial Number.

You can use udiMagic Single-user on any ONE machine with Tally Single-user or Tally Multi-user.

  1. Login into the portal.
  2. In the dashboard, select your License Serial No under the Licensing Tile.
  3. Next, select the Active systems tab and remove the unrequired/unused system.
  4. Next, download, install and reactivate udiMagic software in the new system.

In case if you require additional reset counts, you must write to us from your registered email id or on your letter-head, which is subject to the Fair Usage Policy.

Yes. It is unlikely that any future version of Tally Software will not support any of the features which are currently supported by Tally Software.

Fair Usage Policy
A reset (of Tally Serial or USB Flash Drive or Active System) is provided only for genuine and unavoidable reasons such as hardware failure, system upgrade, or incorrect activation. Frequent or repetitive reset requests are not allowed, as this affects license integrity. We expect customers to request a reset only when truly required. This ensures smooth service for genuine users without delays
